In order to carry out instructions made by CNTA party leaders about assisting local-level tourism data center building, President Dai Bin led a team to investigate big data development in Huzhou and held a thematic symposium on January 18. Present at the symposium were Gan Yongfu, Party Secretary and Chairman of Huzhou Municipal Tourism Committee, Qin Hong, member of Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Huzhou Municipal Tourism Committee, etc. In-depth discussions were held centering upon the building of Huzhou’s tourism data center, tourism statistical reform in Changxing County and accounting of the County’s tourism value added.

President Dai Bin said that it was commendable for Huzhou Municipal Tourism Committee to cater to tourism market demand while fulfilling administrative duties and enhancing coordination with the Municipal Bureau of Statistics. He hoped that the Committee would keep developing Huzhou’s tourism big data and review reform experience about its tourism statistical system to provide reference for tourism statistical reform, especially municipal- and county-level tourism added value accounting in other regions.
