In order to carry out instructions made by CNTA leaders about assisting local-level tourism data center building, President Dai Bin led a team to Tourism Administration of Guangzhou to investigate tourism statistics and data center development and signed a letter of intent for strategic cooperation on March 9. Present at the meeting were Director General Liu Yumei, Deputy Director General Tan Aiying and Chen Yongliang from Tourism Administration of Guangzhou. In-depth discussions were held centering upon tourism statistics and survey, tourism data exchange and data center development.

President Dai Bin said that Tourism Administration of Guangzhou had made outstanding achievements in expanding survey scope and innovating data acquisition methodology on the basis of Tourism Survey Regulations in light of the actual situation of Guangzhou and its tourism industry. He hoped that when building the data center, Guangzhou should be demand-based, follow the principle of applicability and moderate quantity, take talent-growing as a fundamental task and sharpen core competitiveness in data acquisition and analysis.
