China-ASEAN Tourism Cooperation Seminar and the Release Conference of Big Data Report on Tourism in Guangzhou were Held in Beijing

On the morning of Dec. 27th, China-Asean Tourism Cooperation Seminar and the Release Conference of Big Data Report on Tourism in Guangzhou were held in Beijing, jointly organized by CTA and Unicom Big Data.

President Dai Bin, Li Guangju, General Manager of Government-Enterprise Business Department, China Unicom, and Wu Qingsong, Deputy Director of Guangzhou Tourism Bureau, delivered speeches. Over 100 domestic and overseas guests attended the event, including industry representatives from ASEAN, domestic well-known tourism representatives and media representatives. The conference was hosted by Jiang Yiyi, Director of the Institute of International Tourism Development of CTA.

In his speech, President Dai Bin stated that Chinese government has never stopped the theoretical discussion and policy design of the integrated development of culture and tourism. Currently, the problems demanding prompt solution are as follows: 1. how to perform better in international tourism exchanges including China-ASEAN under the current situation, so as to promote the continuous growth and play a role in the inbound-outbound market; 2. how to give full play to the role of cities as tourist source, transit and destination in international communication; 3. how to seize the decentralized and stochastic decisions of customers and focus on the new trend of destination experience, so as to promote tourism development.

President Dai Bin, Zhao Yue, General Manager of Unicom Big Data, and Wu Qingsong, Deputy Director of Guangzhou Tourism Bureau, attended the release ceremony of the big data report. Zhou Hua, Deputy General Manager of Unicom Big Data, made an in-depth interpretation of the report.

President Dai Bin, KONG ROATLOMANG, Director of the Education, Culture and Tourism Department of China-ASEAN Center, Wang Xiaofei from Beijing office of the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia, and Xiao Yi, CEO of QYER.com, jointly released three QYER guides for tourism to Myanmar, Indonesia and Cambodia, and Xiao Yi introduced the guides in detail.

Dr. Yang Liqiong from the Institute of International Tourism Development of CTA presided over the round-table dialogue on "promoting China-ASEAN tourism cooperation through culture and tourism integration". WANG Xiaofei from Beijing office of the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia, Dr. Zhu Shunnan, Project Manager of the Institute of Tourism Studies, China National Travel Service Group Corporation Limited, Gao Jie, Government Sector Manager of VIP Business Department, Google China, Ning Guoxin, Vice President of UCC and General Manager of Utour Commerce Company, Yang Huajin, Director of Yunnan Engineering Investigation and Design Institute, and Zhang Yan from CTA Kunming Branch, performed wonderful sharing on relevant topics.

Dr. Yang Jinsong from the Institute of International Tourism Development of CTA hosted the round-table dialogue on "culture and tourism integration in urban development". Yan han, Deputy Secretary-General of World Tourism Cities Federation, Liang Xun, Director of Marketing Division of Guangzhou Tourism Bureau, Li Ling, Head of the transport and tourism industry of China Unicom's Government-Enterprise Business Department, Ma Congling, associate researcher of CASS, and Professor Tian Caiyun from School of Tourism of Beijing Union University carried out in-depth discussions.
